Now that I know how to add pic's (cause they make it so much more interesting) I figured I would start a thread on my new bank breaker ;D. Tommorow I will be bench testing my AMT Mercury turbine. I built the test stand today and semi rigged up the support (starting) gear. I will do a vid of it and maybe post that when I figure out how to post vids! LOL Attachments:

Haaa Ha, that was pretty dame cool...I F*$%ed up the first three attemps due to a low charge glow igniter, it was fully charged but I think the cell is getting bad. So on the fourth try it fired and so did my brain (lot going on at once for the first time) and when it fired I did things backwards, I shut off the air and kept the propane going and got a EGT error ( I actually did this twice) but figured out what I was doing wrong and on the sixth try in total, it fired and spooled up and control was passed over to the TX. So I let it idle for a min and proceeded to spoole it up (man did it ever sound cool), than I went to full throttle and it started tipping and pushing the whole settup (two black and decked workmates with the test bench screwed to it and that test bench is MDF I figure in total there is about 60 lbs there) but I didn't hold it there for the six seconds the manual recomends, and I am wondering if this is why the turbine only spooles up to 128,000 rpm and not the manual recomended 144,000 rpm ;D ;D But all in all this was a very cool experience. I have video but I need to find the software to be able to download it to my computer.

Alright guys let me know if this was the right link. If it works I'll have another one up of a proper start when I test again tommorow. In this vid the propane valve is not letting enough propane in so it takes a while longer to get the egt to starting temp....... www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp0T3op7Se8
