Found battery info: Ni Cd pack life 4 cell receiver pack 5.7 years. 8 cell transmitter pack 4.8 years. Yes I've thrown packs away that I did not trust.But on the other hand I have receiver packs home made that lasted 10 years. They gave a formula as a guide. After a full charge allow 15% loss in pack at 7 days is risky. 10% of pack loss over night THROW. Just passing along common sense I guess.
