I just traded my mini bike for a rascal rc plane kit with 49" wingspan for my winter project and have got the wings and tail half done so far but really have to take my time because the balsa is really thin. only other thing is to secure a .049-.07 nitro engine for it this winter. if anyone has one of those engines they would sell let me know I would gladly buy it.
the instructions have turned out to be quite vague in terms of how things are positioned what parts are what ect. I'm not making much progress mainly because I have never built a kit plane before haha. its going to take me a while

Colton if in doubt you can go directly to Sig on the internet and then to Rascal and it will have a place where it will help you build the plane, each phase is separated, wing, fuse., and the rest I think. But decide on glow or electrics and then sort out the directions before cutting or gluing anything. As for bad wood if it breaks or splinters Avalon hobbies may help with new lumber or Michaels but watch Michaels as they can be costly. Also I built a model ship and it had paper thin spruce and an old model shipwright told me to glue paper on the back side before cutting, it helped but with an airplane I would hesitate as you will be gluing to this surface and that is not good. Hope this helps.

thanks Tommy that's really helpful. IN terms of the motor issue i know I want to go nitro but all i have is a small cox engine with no way of telling the actual size classification of it. if you know anyone who has a .07 nitro engine they would sell or if you have one yourself that you would sell my number is 306 661 0525, call or text anytime. thanks again

I just got my computer back from the hospital! So I did some digging and found if you go to Sig rc 80 at the bottom of the picture you find fuselage and wing, just click on and there it is. In detail, hope this helps. My phone is 403 526 6843 if needed. Merry xmas and the best to all.
