I just bought a nice digital Vista power EV-650 balance charger. seems like a good charger in that it has the digital balance, charge, storage, ect option but when i balanced my battery it balanced the cells within 0.1 of a volt inaccuracy rather than 0.01 of a volt inaccuracy. Are they not supposed to balance within 0.01 of a volt inaccuracy range?

I have five chargers including the latest fancy one from graupner. I do not think any of them balance closer than 0.1. I am guessing that should be good enough. Warren

OK, thanks warren. figure it doesn't hurt to double check. I'm putting all my batteries in storage mode, are you supposed to put Ni-Cad's on a storage charge for the winter too?

I do not know what the experts say about nicads or NiMh batteries but I leave mine fully charged and cycle them a few times through the winter.

from what I have researched you are suposed to balance them out to between 4 and 3.5 volts; 3.75 being idea for storage they say
