Went flying Tue. morning, and I was using a new plane with around 6 flights on it and it worked great after a few adjustments, done on previous flights. When I flew a few circuits it was great, and then in the northwest corner of our field it went crazy but by fluke or guess flying I got it lowered down and recovered control over shot the runway and landed,no damage done. A short time later Jim Miller had the same thing happen in the same area but he crashed out of the flying area. A while back I flew into the ground about the same area as all this is happening,no control over aircraft. I use Hitec equipment (is this at fault) or is it a narrow signal at a designated time across the field. I ran into this years ago while running boats, on my boat it turned left and the throttle cut back,if you wre going fast enough it made it through the signal width which was around 15 to 20 ft. wide. This was a security signal from a goverment building to a monitor base and down on the 27 meg freq. I had this happen in two provences. Food for thought.
