I missed the meeting again last night, but I think there is an issue that needs to be addressed. I think the club should be seriously looking at pest control, mainly mosquito control. I know this has been discussed before but it's extremely annoying, and prehaps dangerous, to be swatting bugs when you have an aircraft in the sky. If we can look at purchasing 2 large mosquito traps....link.... that would/should be very effective. These traps need to be manned so they would only be in operation while people are out at the field, then put away when the field is vacant. I would think one placed on the east side, the other on the west side just past the large gates would do. I think this, or another type of pest control, should be priority on our list.
