Hello All, Hopefully this gets read before tonight as I am interested in checking out the flying at the field house. My only RC stuff is a drone, a tricopter and a bunch of micro helis. I would really like to fly the bigger stuff but there really are no guidelines for multirotors listed. (I'm just assuming its never come up before) The bigger of the two is a 900mm frame swinging 10" props at 1200kv and the littler drone is a 640mm frame swinging 8" props 1000kv. both are around 1hp and the props are pretty flexible plastic. I feel comfortable enough to hover them in my living room so the field house should be no problem. They are big but are very controllable and stable. I would hate to haul all the stuff down then be told its to big and not be able to fly so thought I would check it out before hand. As well, how many people usually show up on a sunday? As I am defiantly interested in checking out others people setups.

Your larger rig is too big for the indoor area. We would have to have a look at the smaller one to make sure it is ok. Our main concern is safety to others if it gets out of hand. You are allowed one flight as a visitor, after that you must join the club and have an active MAAC membership card. This message board is not that active, please use the email addresses posted on our web site if you want timely replies. Al.
