My answer is: The speed that results in a nice even glide slope that would end at or just prior to the runway, allowing a bit of room for a flair. If my wings start to feel wobbly during approach, my speed is too low, if I am not sinking fast enough, my speed is too high. Of course I am assuming the question is serious... ... or maybe this is your way of letting us know you just bought a new Speed Gun... Al

Then again, if you use a speed gun you will be measuring ground speed, when it is airspeed that really matters!

OK, what is the MINIMUM recommended landing approach airspeed for your plane?

I have no idea! I have seen some neat systems you can install in your plane with pitot tube and all to measure this sort of thing but I really don't see myself spending money on something like that.
