Ok Heli-Heads here is something interesting. Since my Trex 500 and my Harvard piled in minutes apart I never really knew what happened. Gregg had found a possible loose connection with my Tx battery. The 500 went in it went full negative and full throttle. Failsafe is typically set in normal mode with the stick in the lower position. When you have a brown out in idle up, failsafe takes the lower stick position that happens to be full negative and full throttle. Can you set failsafe in idle up at mid stick? Here is a link asking the same questions and also static discharge. I will assume Gregg's findings with the Tx had been correct, and I had lost signal with to receiver. That caused failsafe to kick in. With the Harvard, I didn't rebind once the trims and linkages had been adjusted, and when it went to failsafe the elevator and ailerons did their thing (setting up) instead of going to proper position immediately. www.trextuning.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6861&page=3
