I have Real Flight G3.5 and Hangar 9 FS One. I think I like the Helli's on G3.5 better.

I have : Microsoft Combat Flight Sim's:1;WW2 Europe 2;WW2 South Pacific with Crimea Campaign bonus pack 3;WW2 Europe advanced Jane's WW2 Fighter's IL2 IL2 Forgotten Battle's I don't do the RC sim stuff, prefer real stick time. Ken I also prefer the real stick time. But due to late interest in the hobby I am instructor dependent. For me the "stimulator" helps with stick direction with different orientation of the aircraft. I was brushing up on the Helis today, after I got back from flying the Piper in the snow storm.

I think RC flight simulators are great and cut down training time in half. I have an old flight simulator, generation 1, I still use on occasion. Well worth the money for a student, who can continue to use it for their entire flying career.

I agree with you Ray. We all know how hard it can be to line up schedules with an instructor so this is a valuable tool for new pilots. Also a very good way to learn advanced flying without risking your prized aircraft.

I have Aerofly Pro. It is a few years old but I remember it being pretty good! I will have to get it installed and get practicing!
