Here is a picture of my latest project that I am trying to get out to the flying field. I am putting the Trex 600 electric mechanics into it. It is a few weeks away yet but I should have it done long before the Fun Fly in July. Al

If anyone wants to place any pictures in their posts and you do not have a place on the Internet to host the images, send them to me and I will store them on the clubs web site. I will then send you the link to it that you need to embed in your message.
Same goes for any custom Avatar you may want to use.

I have come to a abrupt halt. The main mount that I constructed would not slide in to the fuselage with the mechanics installed... It is a bit tricky as the fuse bottom is really flexible and I am trying to come up with a solid base for the mechanics. Once I get this worked out I have to anchor the top of the mechanics and then the tail gearbox. It will come together, just need to come up with a new idea. I have been all over the web but can not find and info on how others are doing this. I did find two flying videos of machines like this one, same mechs and same fuse, different paint though. Al

Sorry to say that not much has happened with it for several weeks. This weekend looks like there may be a few hours of build time available!

Well, I got back to the Agustsa. I have the tail gear box mounting all figured out and done! Had to make a couple fancy mounting blocks inside the tail to pick up on 2 mounting lugs on the gearbox. Kinda like building a ship in a bottle but the bottle is not transparent. The floor structure in the front is 80% done, just need the 4 hard points located for the mounting bolts. The last tricky bit is tying the top rear frame to the top of the fiberglass body. This is going to involve more ship building in a bottle work...
